Those are usually ripoffs requiting u to book a higher class

To get the companion fare I have several cheaper to book 2 at best coach fare

Usually and get the FF miles

Also generally non transferrable probably will not work for u.

Delta has not continued that Northwest program. And most, if not all, coupons Delta does have for companion fares are specific to the person who is named on the coupon (but rarely require higher cbooking classes and are far from being ripoffs).
