CVG Air France flight
Looking at a flight from CVG to Paris CDG. Flying in on Delta from MSY, this discounted ticket shows the CVG-CDG operated by AF. This appears to be a daily flight. Is anyone familiar with the route? How do you know if you will be on an AirFrance plane or a Delta? There are 2 or 3 departure times per day for this route. Is anyone familiar that can give me some info? I am no flight guru. Thanks!

Thanks everybody. If I have this right, a four-digit AF number is a codeshare operated by the partner on behalf of AF. I just do not want to get on a Delta flight from CVG to CDG. My first trip to France was on a Delta plane and it was the worst flight I have ever made. We returned on AF, and I was hooked. The seats in coach were as nice as business class and some first class on domestic airlines. I do wish I had thought at the time to find out what type aircraft that was.

rkkwan - thanks. I'm glad I didn't book that 650 flight before you posted this answer. I hit paydirt this afternoon and was able to book an AF flight out of ATL on an AF aircraft for about $40 less. Airport made no real difference to me, just whichever ones connected out of my home airport of MSY (New Orleans). ATL is huge and CVG would have prob been nicer with less traffic, but I am taking a night flight out of ATL so it will probably have quieted down by then. Thanks again. I am learning lots I'd never thought of before regarding airlines, airports and aircraft.
