Chicago O'Hare to London

Be traveling from Chicago to London over the summer and was just wondering if any of you can give your opinion on what airlines to fly I'm looking for probably business class but wanted to find the most comfortable accommodations without spending outrageously. Will probably max out around $1700 one way

I'd choose whichever gets you the best fare/schedule. Not sure which model AA uses on the route, but from LAX they are 777-300's and the business product is great. 1-2-1 configuration, lie flat bed, good food etc etc. But I'd think any of the major carriers would be fine.

Check out flying to Barcelona (or Madrid) on most any airline and then take Vueling up to LON. I've been finding amazingly low J fares into Spain.

I suggest you go to a website such as Orbitz as they will list all the flights, times and prices for your destination. They also give a general rating as to a "very good flight" or "good flight". Generally, there's not that much difference in airlines. The newest planes are the best option, but one can't always determine which plane will be used on a particular flight. The difference in comfort level will be in the class booked. I seriously doubt you can get a business class ticket for $1700.

The OP said $1700 one way -- if that means $3400 RT, sure, very doable.
