Cheapest flight to Montreal Canada
We need a flight that is really economical. I dont want to go with priceline because I dont know the timings and it has to be something that I know in advance. I looked with expedia, travelocity, cant find anything! I am flying from miami, fl. Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Besides the dates please tell us what you would consider an acceptable fare and how many tickets?. It will help to know if it's even possible.
Again, to everybody that is looking for specific fare info and there are some really good people here that know where to look, but they need the following info:
1)How many travelers? (adults, children)
2)Starting and destination cities (are you willing to go to/or arrive at, another nearby airport?)
3)Dates and are you flexible(few days, few weeks, middle of the week or weekends only, etc.)
4)Any preferences as to airlines(optional)

I doubt very much that you could do better than the $300 quoted. You should go to AA.com as you will get a choice of flights, so the R/T could be at reasonable time.
The reasons for the higher fare? It's the high season here in Floria. Our Canadian neighbors love Florida this time of the year. I live on the other coast, but I'm sure it's the same on the east coast. We get snowbirds here till the weekend after Easter. I'm sure the planes are full.
Priceline may be the only option you have if you need something cheaper, and to be honest, I'm not sure you will get a much better deal. Also look into www.hotwire.com.
Good Luck!

I just checked the Air Canada website for Miami-Montreal return on your dates. Air Canada (Tango) would cost you $858.00 CDN (total for 2 people including all airport charges and government taxes). that's $644 US. Not a bad deal.

Thanks a bunch for your help. I have an uncle who works in air canada and before 9/11 he was able to get me passes on standby. After 9/11 they changed the rules. I asked him to check if he could get me a discount! I dont know how that works with airlines---I will have to wait and find out!

I don't know if this is too late for you but I just saw an e-fare on UsAirways for $181 round trip. I am sorry I don't know anything more, I deleted the email before I remembered your post. Try USAirways.com under there specials/e fare section.
