carry on food
I will be traveling soon with my family on a
domestic flight (2 adults 4 youth).
In the past we always carry cereal bars and such. does any one know how securty is handling these items now.I know on our second leg we can buy food .but it is not offered on on the first which departs at 6AM.
It may not matter anyway as we are flying
Northwest.
Thanks

MAyo and mustard already on a sandwich not allowed or mayo and mustard still in the little packages???
If they don't allow mayo and mustard already on a sandwich, are they going to stop allowing people who have styling gel that is still "wet-looking" in their hair on the plane?
:-?

You are usually allowed to carry on food but not liquids. This will vary by airport, regardless of what the TSA web site says is allowed. I can't speak specifically to the mustard packets, but to be safe, just put it on the sandwich before hand. You should have no problems with cereal bars and solid foods, particularly if they are prepackaged.
