Booking Question - Passport Name
I have decided to book through airfare.com and hope for the best for our trip to Positano.
On airfare.com, it says to type our names, EXACTLY as they appear on our passorts. Our last name is Macintosh. My husband's passport lists "MACINTOSH" as the surname.
Mine lists "MAC INTOSH".
On the bottom of the passport his shows as P<USAMACINTOSH<< and mine shows as P<USAMAC<INTOSH<<.
Will there be any problem with my tickets if I type my name in as "MACINTOSH", or should I type it as it is on the passport "MAC INTOSH" with the spaces??
This may seem like a silly question, I just don't want any problems.

Yeah, someone sent me a couple links with a whole lot of not so good things that have happened to people.
Someone else told me to look at 1-800-flyeurope, but I am now very leary of using any discounter...

Should not be a problem. My driver license and passport are different variations (first initial, middle name v. full first name, middle name) and I usually book tickets using 'mike' instead of the full name.
i've never had a problem at all, and a space is pretty irrelevant in this case.

You'll be fine. Type it all together. They're referring to that if your name is MacIntosh, you can't use a passport in which the name is MacAffee. Or, if your first name is John but you go by your nickname of Jack and your passport also shows Jack. I book clients with hyphenated names such as Brown-Adler. Their name will show as Brownadler on the airline ticket. It will still match their passport name. Computers don't recognize spaces or hyphens.
