Award ticket vs baggage fees
Would it make more sense to take a coach award ticket at 32,500 miles and have to pay $110 (round trip) in baggage fees or get a first class award ticket at 62,500 miles and have no baggage fees? What is a mile worth when trying to compute costs? Many thanks.

Depends on how many miles you have and the other benefits of first class. If you have scads of miles and flying first class also give you another day because you arrive well rested go for it. I'm too cheap however. I would rather use the points for another trip. You are essentially giving up the cost of another flight to avoid $110 in luggage fees.

Depends on how many miles you have I guess. Obviously 30,000 miles is almost enough to get you another coach award ticket. I would have to spend $30,000 on my awards credit card or fly to Europe 3 times to accummulate 30,000 miles.
I would pay the $110.
I would pay the $110.
