Austrian Airlines
We have an upcoming trip to Croatia and we'll be flying on an Austrian Airlines 777...in coach. How is this airlines in regards to comfort, entertainment and food? Thanks you in advance.

Austrian is one of the few (but increasing number) of airlines that put 3-4-3 on their 777. And pitch is listed as 31"/33". So, pretty standard.
If you're big and wide, you'll feel cramped.

Thanks. We're not wide, but tall at 6'2" and 6'3". I noticed on the airline's website that the 777 has a few rows of 2-4-2 at the back of coach. We'll shoot for the section of 2's.

Here's a very interesting photo. Only one of this kind I've ever seen, and it was from a ex-Lauda Air 772, which is now Austrian:

At that time, only the rear cabin was 3-4-3, while the one in the middle was 3-3-3.

We recently returned from our trip to Croatia and Austria. Austrian Airlines was a good experience. We tweaked our travel dates, so wound up on a 767 instead of a 777. Actually scored emergency row exits both ways (I have no status). Food was actually decent, good wines, plenty of movies to choose from, and very friendly flight attendants. Wow, those uniforms/stockings/shoes sure are red. Our luggage was over the weight limit and they never said a word. I'd fly them again. Vienna was gorgeous.
