Anyone have a NWA/Delta E-Cert?

In need of 1 or 2 NWA or Delta E-Certificates. They usually come in the blue Val-Pak coupons packets, but have come separately before. If you can't use yours, it's just garbage, so why not recycle it to us!! I'd be willing to pay up to $20 for one or $40 for two. It just has to be valid to fly through December 31st! Please let me know, thanks. [email protected]

Hello lyssalou, I have FF miles with NWA and also now with Delta. I am familar with the Value Pak coupon envelopes you are talking about but I haven't seen a certificate in them for quite some time. Have you signed up for either of the FF club? If so you will receive emails regarding their "sales".

I have also not seen any coupons in Val Paks in over a year. Of course that may be a regional thing.

Yes, I do have the Delta and NWA Frequent Flyer Miles. I haven't accrued enough to fly though. Plus, it's me, the hubby and our son who is over 2 years old. So we need 3 tickets. My plan was to buy the miles from both my parents, at .01 per mile - it'd be about $300 + $50 fee..which $350 is better than $700. But..I didn't realize only a certain number of seats on each flight can go to people utilizing their miles. So, I'd need 50,000 miles just for one flight. Everyone says use priceline, expedia, orbitz, etc, but they've just been marginally cheaper than going directly through the airline. Any other advice??

What's your route? NWA ff program is ending (as is NWA airline) so you won't be finding any cert's. NWA/Delta is still allowing transfer of miles between the accounts until the end of August (you can link your accounts on the website). You can still do part miles and part money on NWA's ff program. Delta's doesn't allow that.

My route is Great Falls, MT (GTF) to Hartford, CT (BDL) usually via Minneapolis/St. Paul. I've tried the ff miles route, but I can't do that. The seats on the plane reserved for someone using 25,000 miles are all taken already. We'd need 50,000 miles for each flight.
