I am trying to keep an eye out for good deals for a flight between early June to early July from either Madison, WI or Chicago to Seattle. If I could find one under $300 out of Chicago that would be great. When I go to the travel sites I can find a somewhat decent flight out at a good time, but then the return flight with the same price is either at 6AM (too early) or 3-5 PM (too late) and the ones I would like (between 10AM and 1PM) jack the cost of the ticket up $75-$100. Any sites I can keep an eye on?

I have had very good luck with "Airfare Watchdog"
Plan on spending at least 5 minutes a a day at the site.
If you find a good deal dont wait too long as they may not last

But, Mapper71, that is the purpose of cheap fares -- to force you to take flights that are not as popular or as desirable. If you want a prime flight at a prime time, expect to pay a prime fare. That is just business.

Alaska Air has a 12:55p flight on the return.

I see $256 fares on Alaska Air roundtrip on various dates in June.
