There is no way unless you bought a full fare ticket. You buy cheap fare you have to live with consequences.

I wish I could help you -- you are likely out of luck.

But I did want to tell you that I love your ID!!

with fond memories of May 10, 1970...

And you wonder, AAFF, why people think you're a smarta$$. You could have answered the question like this: "Unless you bought a full fare ticket, there's no way to avoid the charges." Or even better, the way Rizzuto did.

soccr,

what is your problem?

Telling it like it is is a problem for you?

Let the OP decide....

Why comment on my responses?

Answer the OP and stay away from me..... please

I respectfully disagree. A smarta$$ answer would have been: "ur SOL".

orr4ever, keep an eye on your reservation and hope they make a schedule change.

orr4ever, as mrwunrfl has stated your best hope is for AA to change your schedule. Then you can call them and say something like, "The new schedule is unacceptable, so please change it to _________." I've done this a couple of times in recent years and it worked for me. In my situation I changed my schedule for travel on the same dates. But if you are wanting to rebook for a completely different time frame then you probably will have to pay the fee, sorry.
