Airline Club rooms using FF upgrade

This is probably a dumb question, but if you use FF miles to upgrade to business class are you entitled to use the airline club rooms. I am using FF miles on a UA flight to Europe that goes through Chicago and have a lengthy layover between flights. Can I use their club room with my ticket?

Don't know specifically with UA, but in general, yes.

A business ticket, regardless how it was paid for, allows access to ANY StarAlliance lounge.

I emailed USAir:

"I have a first class ticket from Philadelphia to Los Angeles. Does that entitle me to go into the US Airways club?"

The answer:

"Thank you for contacting US Airways.

Access to the US Airways Clubs is by membership only. You may purchase a one day trial pass for $35.00 on the day of your travel.

We appreciate your continued patronage of US Airways." :-<
