Advise Wanted on Flight Plan

11/1/08 - IND - LON
11/6/08 - LON - VCE (BA)
11/15/08 - VCE - IND

Business Class
Delta $3152.68 ttl pp r/t.

Don't like going thru JFK & don't like arriving IND so late. Don't like Delta's seats! BMI Prem Econ is wider than Delta's business/1st class! & Delta does not have flat beds like other airlines do.

11/1 - IND 12:20pm arv ATL 2:03pm
ATL 9:15pm arv LGW 9:45 am

11/15 - VCE 11:30am arv JFK 2:59pm
JFK 8:45pm arv IND 11:36pm

USAir has too many stops returning & is $300 more pp.

BMI has too many hoops to jump thru for saving $3000 ttl on Prem.Econ. IND to CHI on other line; ORD to MAN; MAN to LON. Then to return VCE to MAN with stop somewhere. Stay overnite MAN; BMI to ORD; CHI to IND. I'm worn out!

Any other thoughts?

Guess we could book other airline from JFK for earlier time, but then if our flight to JFK is late, we are on our own, rather than connecting with Delta.

If anyone can invent a better mouse trap, you experts can!

Thanks.

BA:

11/1 IND-ORD-LHR
11/6 LGW-VCE
11/15 VCE-LGW, LHR-ORD-IND

With the two trans-Atlantic segments in Premium Economy price out to $1,947. But I'd hate that LGW/LHR transfer on the way back.

Virgin's ORD-LHR rountrip in PE is $1,403, but after you add the other flights, it's no cheaper than BA.

thanks rkkwan. I'll look at BA. Maybe we could spend the nite in London to ease the LGW-LHR issue. while that adds cost, any extra nite in london is nice!

If you do the LGW-LHR transfer, plan on at least a 5 hour connection. (It probably won't take that long, but having a long connection will reduc stress levels.)
