Safari njema, Kimburu

Kimburu is leaving on the 8th.

It looks like you this time will go to Kenya as an older and wiser Fodorite. I hope this will lead to a perfect safari and that upon your return you’ll tell everything about Tusk Camp – and all other places you’ll visit.

Safiri salama, Kimburu.

Have a great trip, Paul - don't forget that your wife gave up some pretty awesome Hermes bags for this trip - so be sure to buy her a special Maasai souvenir! Can't wait to hear all about when you get back...

Thank you, all..... and I will write about Tusk Camp Nyamera... everywhere else we are going will have been well reported on by then and I will have to look for "perspectives" for my trip report in order to make it interesting. I am aware of my responsibilities.

Lynda. I'm afraid those Hermes bags are spent already! She's flying business class.. so she's on her own for souvenirs this year ;-)

... if we can get to Tusk Camp! I just checked out the weather and it's forecast to continue raining for another 10 days or so.... and the maximum temps are barely out of the 60s! Looks like some changes to the packing list are in order. 70 max is cool weather where we come from - especially if it is wet...

Now I have my trip report title (if the weather forecast is correct)
Green Season Safari at Peak Season Prices ......

Anyway, it'll be fun whatever the weather.

Sherry you are too funny! I'm trying to envision putting tutus on my Maine Coons. Don't see it happening!

Oh! You may use the anytime you wish!

Cheers,

Kimburu, you’ll have to wade through mud to get to Tusk Camp. We need a report.
Aren’t there fake Hermès bags for Mrs. Kimburu in Bangkok? Just an idea…

Nyamera, there are plently of fake bags, and some very good ones but Mrs Kimburu wants my money spent on getting close to cheetahs, dik-diks, rock hyrax and honey badgers (well, perhaps not too close to the latter). She said I would be allowed to buy her a diamond if I had any money left, but if I tried to pass off a fake I think I might be facing an overnight visit to the vet.
