Help me develop an itinerary for a trip to Egypt !!!

I have started researching the final details for a trip to Egypt for this coming spring. My main interests are art, architecture, history, and archeology.

I will have a total of 7 full days give or take a couple of days to visit the top sights in Egypt and can fly there from either Rome or Athens.

I'd love to hear what itineraries you guys would recommend to see the "must see" sights in Egypt.

Thanks in advance.

You're going to have to do a little work here.

Give us an itinerary with pricing and we will let you know how it looks.

Good luck.

You can spend a few days in Cairo seeing the sights, then train or fly to Luxor or Aswan for a 3 or 4/days Nile cruise. While on cruise, stops along the way to various temples. While at Aswan, it's suggested you try to visit Abu Simbel (about 1/2-day needed). In Luxor, there are the temples of Luxor and Karnak and visit to the Valley of the Kings/Queens.

Can be done in 7/days.

Yes, but it includes Italy, Greece, and Turkey in addition to Egypt. I expanded the Egyptian stay to basically 2-weeks since I felt there was lots more to do than could be done in just seven days.
