Singita Photo Album
In cleaning out my office, I came across a CD and after popping it in, I was delighted to find a few forgotten photos I had taken while at Singita in March, 2002.
Unfortunately, I did not take too many pictures of the lodge, but the wildlife was incredible, although with it having been my very first lodge, I just thought it was normal to see a pride of lions feeding on a fresh kill from 5 meters away, as well as seeing possibly 5 rhinos and a cheetah with cubs. Almost makes me want to go back!
Forgive me for feeding apples to those adorable monkeys outside my room. It did make for a few nice pictures of them trying to break into my room, and these monkeys were always around camp anyway, and would snoop down and steal food from the brunch area at any slightest opportunity.
As many pictures as I did get at Singita (mostly in an earlier photo album), I kick myself when I think of how many photos I deleted as a result of not even knowing how to crop my photos back then! That is exactly why most of these photos never showed up before.
Anyway, I am glad to find about 20 decent photos that I was able to post at www.ofoto.com
I do have more Singita photos in my album titled "Rocco's Photos" dated 07/11/2003.

Has anybody else had problems viewing the album? It comes up for me on my own computer with that link.
Somebody had an interesting trick on viewing problem Ofoto albums, but I have forgotten the process.

Roccco, thanks for sharing the photos. You've gotten some incredible stuff. Makes me want to be back in Africa right now. Thanks also for sharing the info on Zambian lodges. We'll definitely give these a try.
