Just a quick question regarding taxis in Zanzibar:

we are going for our honeymoon in July this year. I got an offer from Zanzibar Airport Transfers (http://www.zanzibarairporttransfers.co.tz/). it is claimed to be a private agency not associate with airport desk. they asked us to pay $40 USD each way.. i know we can't buy reliability, and the price is fine for us, but did anyone already take advantage of their service and can recommend them or dissuade me from booking the transfer with them? We don´t want to be abandoned by our transfer provider.

(landing at night, just want my options to be clear before I arrive!)

For my experience I think for the case of Airport Transfer you should arrange it with your Tour operator if you have any or the Hotel you book to stay with unless that hotel they don"t have Airport Transfer Services

Try Viator - I have used them for airport to hotel and reverse transfers all over the world and always had good results.
