Check the major hospitals who usually all have a Travel Clinic Dept. Know St. Lukes/Roosevelt has; had mine done Columbia/Presbyterian (east side). Also, there's the Yellow Pages and lots of listings there. There are also some individual physicians who are licensed to do these. Can also check with the Public Health office.
YF doesn't come cheap... with charge for office visit and the jab, can run anywhere from $150-$250, but the jab is good for 10/yrs. Insurance rarely pays for this, thoujgh no harm asking of yours.
Whichever route, be sure to get the YF card as proof of jab and have it with your passport for presentation where it's required.
Good luck!

$125 is the lowest clinic I found for yellow fever vaccination in NYC. I was surprised. They do not charge extra fees. No consult fee. No doctor fee. No extra cost. No appointment was required. No long wait time at this office.
I checked this clinic and it is a CDC approved center. They also gave me anti-malaria pills and other travel vaccines at unbelievable prices. I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a good bargain and fast service.
I am glad I found this clinic. It is one block from subway.

Try this link for services in New York State.
www.travmed.com/clinics/index.html?mode=st&st=NY
I didn't go thru the entire site, but there might be individual doctors* vs only clinic services.
*there are some private doctors licensed to do so.
Had an old CDC link with this info for the entire country, but seems none of those 'older' links are working. Things do change.

I found it!!! Thanks to Sandi I read thru the Travelmed site and found that The Interchurch Center at Columbia U gives the shots for $125 with no appointment charge. Will charge $25 to write prescriptions but suggested that we have our doc do that. My appointment is not till next week so cannot write about that but they are the nicest people on the phone. Just talking to them is good medicine.
Luskech's source sounds excellent but Brooklyn is over an hour from me and Interchurch is 5 minutes.
I just hated to pay a $80 to $200 appointment fee when I have a regular md and go for regular exams. Plus my husband is going also so we would have had to pay double.

i live in Manhattan and took the subway to new york medical clinic brooklyn, it was just 20 mins ride.
The clinic is one block from the subway.
The office was not crowded, i was in and out in about 15mins
I saved close to $150 compared to many travel clinics in Manhattan

Got the shot at the Interchurch Center this morning. A nicer experience one could not have. They mainly take care of medical missionaries so they have lots of experience with remote areas. Just paid for the shots no extra charges. But if you need information or any other travel meds, they certainly can take care of your needs. No wating, we were the only patients there. Highly recommend!
