Victoria Falls in February
HI Fellow Travelers,
I'm looking for some input on the conditions at Victoria Falls for the first or second week of February. I've seen information stating that there is poor visibility of the falls due to mist as well as rain every day. I've also noticed some tour companies only offer tours May through October. We aren't necessarily interested in the actives that may be shut down such as Devil's Pool or rafting. We would be interested in a helicopter ride. This trip would also include a few days on the Zambezi Queen. Has anyone gone at this time of year that could share your experience? Thanks in advance for any input you can offer.

After summer rains the falls are usually in full flow. If visibility from the ground is poor you can book a helicopter or microlight flight and see the falls in all its majesty. My daughter and SIL did that, and the photos and videos they took from the air were spectacular. I was there in November (not this year), before the start of the rains, and visibility was excellent but much of the gorge had no water flow at all.
By the way, you may see a rainbow created by the mist.
