I hope it will work out but the thought of even one night in an Egyptian jail would scare the crap out of me.

Maybe I've watched too many episodes of "Locked Up Abroad."

P_M - I keep kidding DH that 30 days in a Cairo jail and we'd be set for life! I'd get our friend Ben Wedeman to cover the story, then he'd do the morning news/late night show circuit, then maybe a movie deal!!!!

Debbie, Glad to hear you got home safely and that things seem fine. Hopefully things will continue to be fine. The "don't go out at night" thing might alter our first night in Cairo a bit. We arrive at 5pm so I guess we'll just stick to the hotel instead of wandering around Zamelek. Better safe than sorry, right? We only have one month to go!

Can I play the sexy siren who distracts the guard while Mr. G makes his great escape from the Egyptian prison?

Will the studio pay for the necessary surgery so I can be a sexy siren? :-s

Wait I just remembered--when I was in Egypt, ALL men treated me like a sexy siren. That tells me Egyptian men have low standards. So no surgery needed.
