Ultrathon recommended?

I've purchased Ultrathon for my upcoming safari to S. Africa and Botswana. Any criticisms of this product or suggestions of a better option? Thanks for your help!

Ultrathon is a controlled release repellant, so you only have to put it on every 12 hrs (unless you get really hot and sweaty). They slow down the release by binding the DEET to a protein molecule; the protein acts like a filter so you absorb less of the chemical into your body...so there's less concern about toxicity.

I prefer the Sawyer controlled release lotion. I think that it is very similar to the Ultrathion (both use the controlled release concept), but I simply prefer the texture of the Sawyer.

Ultrathon is listed as tops by Consumers Reports. We use it.
