Tour Operators in Israel. Which is the best?
I am trying to select good tour operator for Israel and Egypt. Has anyone ever had any experience with any of the following tour operators in Israel:
Trafalgar Tours (large american company)www.trafalgar.com;
Key Tours (american company from VA) www.keytours.com;
Ayelet Tours (american company from NY)www.ayelettours.com;
an Israeli tour operator from the site www.travelmania.com.il
or Reginatours Israel,LTD www.reginatours.com
The last one interested me the most as they have a very good 13 day tour but they do not answer any of my e-mail messages. has anyone ever dealt with any of these companies?
Thanks

Also check:
Isram Tours - a wholesaler who prefer to work with you through a travel agent, but we used them for Turkey and went direct to them (located in NYC)
Gate-1 (in Pennsylvania)
both do travel to Israel, Egypt and Jordan; have years in business and can do group or independent travel.

I'm afraid it will be too late for you, but... I'm going with Trafalgar to Israel in March. Of course I'll post a report as soon as I'll get over the jetlag.
It was my impression Trafalgar is a British company with a branch in US, but I may be wrong here.

Elaine, so far it's Trafalgar's tour March 9-17, and 3 more days after it -mainly to meet friends.
Usually the tour companies send a more detailed schedule about a month before the "due date" so I will try to plan my free time at the end of February.
For now I'm searching all websites I can find. A lot changed since I was there 8 years ago!
