Tip for photographers/self drivers
I'd like to share this tip I found in a South African travel magazine.
Use a kid's 'pool noodle' (those long floats) and cut a slit lengthways along it and slide it onto the window - good for an armrest while game viewing or in place of a bean bag for photographers. Maybe an improvement on the bean-filled bean bag - I read a story on the Sanparks forum that an elephant took a fancy to the contents of one driver's beanbag and ate it! Maybe the colours are a bit bright though ... anyway I'm going to give it a try, easy enough to pack.

The Windbag looks like a good bit of kit - just hope sniktawk isn't making an oblique reference to anyone in particular with the word 'windbag'!!
Just makes me wonder what other cool gadgets are out there for the safari traveller? Any suggestions? I've noticed that South Africans are rarely seen without a Leatherman close at hand!
