Amazing time in Kenya Uganda Andy Ethiopia

Thanks to all who answered my questions to organize this trip to Africa. It could not have been better. Here is a link to my blog with some pictures. There is a index on the right so you can choose the country you want, otherwise it goes newest first and you scroll down

What a wonderful journal. We hope to go to Kenya next year and your writing took me back there. And your pictures. Can't wait.

What amazing journal in Fact i have been in Uganda twice but i see Ethiopia as my next destination. Yes Uganda is a pearl of Africa gifted by nature but i see culture in Ethiopia more.
Please thanks very much for your time and keep enlightening travelers who would wish to go to East Africa on how to, what they can see when to go and where to go.
God Bless you

Live42day--thank you!! What a wonderful and descriptive blog and wow, those photos!!! aren't the people of the region amazing??!! I recall your planning stage,a nd am so glad it worked out.
Oh yes, those huge lensed-cameras!! On the Kazinga Channel, I feared their weight would tip the boat as their owners rushed to one side to see animals. In fact, the boat did rock ---from hippos emerging under it!

live42day, I would be thrilled to come home with photos as good as yours. May I ask about the camera you were using?

Thank you art, I have a Canon Rebel T2i with a 18-200 lens. It was a photographers dream in all three countries. I can see why people from National Geographic and other photographers go there.

What a great trip and wonderful report! The photos are amazing!

I looked at it very quickly and look forward to spending more time reading and viewing photos so that I can really absorb myself in it. I'm not planning a safari-style trip now, but when I do, this will give me great inspiration!

Again, enjoyed the report particularly on Uganda. Thanks for posting and also sharing the pictures. We were fortunate to have Brighton on two safaris to Uganda and appreciated him immensly. Your stay in QNP and the channel boat safari brought back many wonderful memories.

FYI. I just added a little video to the blog on the gorillas. It is at the end of Uganda/Rwanda.
