I am so grateful to Eben, Sandi, Bill, lifelist, Patty and siselfactory. My TA is apologetic and says that she got a confirmation you all were right, the trip is not 3 hours. They are now saying 4 hours (although I know Eben is blanching at that) and so she is checking the price of a charter now from the Crater Lodge to JRO. I hope it is not outrageous but I'll report back.
