Shompole at Lake Natron is by far the most stunning camp I've ever been too and the game viewing was OK too, but not like the Mara. It's the only place I've ever seen an aardwolf.
Ol Malo Lodge and the Ol Malo Trust were the overall winners in the Responsible Tourism Awards just awarded at the World Travel Mart in London.
I still haven't been to Ilmoran so I can't comment, but I plan too visit next year.

Your comparing apples to oranges. In three different areas with different offerings.
Ol Malo is up north, Shompole is down south on the Tanzania border and the Mara is "the Mara."
When will you be traveling?
Where else will you be visiting during your time in country? Areas/parks?
For pure game viewing it's the Mara hands-down. Ol Malo offers a different environment, landscape, type of game. Shompole is hot and dry (each w/ their own pool, with less game, but visits to Lake Natron - the "cat's meow" when it comes to accommodation... and ideal honeymoon stop.
Why not post the entire itinerary w/ options to enable us to better comment.

We just returned from Ol Malo...simply the most magical place any of us have ever stayed....unbelievable...we saw elephants, lions, cheeta and rhino, all in one day, there...we WILL retun to Ol Malo someday, for sure! Hope this helps!
