safari or else
I had a 2 week South African trip planned to visit my daughter, a Peace Corps volunteer, in March. Alas, the horrible Chicago winter got the best of me and I broke my leg falling on the ice 2 weeks before my departure. Now, I am hoping to reschedule the entire trip in late June early July. I need some help trying to find a nice place in CapeTown (3 days) and a semi-luxury Krueger safari (3 days) in early July, since the places we had booked in March are not available in June. Since I have not yet received a refund for some of the places we already booked, I am open to suggestions and your help.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about your broken leg. Do the places that you had booked in March not have any space available in the time frame you're looking to travel? It's considered off season in South Africa at that time.

W are now looking at flying into Capetown on July 9, stay there for 3 days, drive to Stellenbosch for 3 days, fly to JoBorg and visit the area near Tzaneen where my dauther lives. Then we would like to drive to see Blythe Canyon, and then safari for four days, leaving for the USA on July 22. I guess my budget is around $2000 pp, not counting the airfare to and from SA. Is this all possible with that budget?
