safari njema to patty

Since farewells to patty are cropping up in other threads I thought I would start one dedicated to them.
Have a great and safe trip.

Safari njema, Patty. I'm sure you and your husband will have an amazing time.

I look forward to a full report, lots of photos, and GPS coordinates when you return.

Of course, you could always pull a Rocco and post from Nairobi...

Asante sana. If I get the opportunity, I'll feed my Fodors addiction by posting mini-reports 'live' from Kenya and Tanzania

It seems like yesterday that you started planning this return visit and now - it's almost time to go! It's so good to have this board to keep things moving and not loosing the momentum. Happy travels.

That is a particularly good send-off given that she will be on a horse safari some of the time.

Yep, the bags are packed, the house is cleaned, the dogs are bathed, and the bunnies have a fresh litter box. All that's left to do before I leave is watch Out of Africa for the umpteenth time

Though not as successful at the boxoffice, I nevertheless like "I Dreamed of Africa" starring Kim Basinger, another true and ongoing story about a woman who has had a significant impact in Africa. It has a mystical quality not unlike that in "Out of Africa." Have a great safari!
