safari company advice
I am planning a safari in Tazania, I have been contacting few local companies to receive prices and itineraries. I have received several similar responses but I am not sure which one to choose. Has anyone used Safarimakers? Can you recommend them? Any feeedback appreciated. Thanks

No one likes to really recommend a outfitter, so you must do a search and then read the threads/posts about each.
I few to look up:
Roy Safaris
Sunny Safaris
Eastern & Southern Safaris
Leopard Tours
Kibo Safaris
Ranger Safaris
Bobby Tours
Go2Africa
CCAfrica
And many more.
Some are budget, some can do luxury, some have great vehicles, some have old crummy vehicles, some have new tents, some have old tents, etc. There are so many variables that you must check each and feel comfortable with the outfitter you finally choose.
Good luck.

List the itinerary here, showing when you'll be traveling (month), which parks/reserves, type of accomm - lodge/camps, number of days at each.
You can list all the itineraries to which you've received prices from the various providers - rather the ones you're seriously considering.
Can't tell whether Safarimakers is offering the best itinerary, accommodations and/or price, unless we have some comparison. The least expensive or the most for that matter, may not be the best.
And, of course, what do you wish to accomplish, and your estimated budget.

Thanks guys. I was more interested in receiving feedback about Safarimakers rather than comparing itinerariesas I can not find a lot about them posted around. I quite like their itinerary but I would like to have some comments from someone who used them or knows them.

I also have to add to the list the company we used for our recently completed trip MATEMBEZI LTD. Based in Arusha, they only do Tanzania. They were amazing - incredibly well planned and executed trip - quick responses to my questions - good price - GREAT guide and Ilan and his partner Hagai, were just wonderful to work with.
I don't think the website is up yet (and I will send you the email address as soon as I get home from work) I found them through a South African friend. I have never had such excellent service from a travel company (and I've been alot of places).
I will go into more detail when I post my trip report next week, but I got a very personalized itinerary - it is a small company so unlike many of the others they did not lump us with masses of others.
Can you tell I'm still glowing from the experience?!!
