These photos are super.
From domestic dogs to the aardwolf you had wonderful variety. Just how rare was the pangolin according to your guide? I bet he was pretty excited to see it too. Darling cheetah cub. You have some great hippo head shots. Two black rhino is great! Lovely waterhole pics. I don't think I've seen a cheetah picture on a night drive before. Please post your itinerary again. I'm off to the Seychelles later.

We spent a couple of days (2 cruise ship days) in the Seychelles - I recognized the market, Little Ben and I think we left on our snorkeling trip from the Seychelles yacht club!! Great meomories you brought back!

Great photos! Love the vervet wanting the salami (salami looked pretty good, too), generuk, all the eles in the red dust and mud, the cheetah mama and tiny cub, pangolin (!!!), aardwolf, early morning hippo shot, and many others.
And I haven't even gotten to the Seychelles.

We didn't snorkel in the Seychelles. The water was rough on the side of the island where we were staying until our last day. They said that they didn't receive the rains they'd expected in Dec/Jan and they were getting it in Feb (though it didn't rain the days we were there). Normally for the catamaran cruise, they'd board from the hotel but they had to shuttle us to Victoria to board. We cruised over to the islands in the marine park near Victoria and did have an opportunity to snorkel there but it was getting late in the afternoon and overcast and just not that inviting. Those that went in reported not much to see. I'm sure there's good snorkeling in the Seychelles. It just wasn't a priority for us so we didn't seek it out.

I'm reading the last few pages of "Out of Africa" and seeing your picture of the car and wagon used in the movie was timely. \
/ Love the bushbaby and I have to agree with eyelaser "Holy %$&* a pangolin!" Great shots of that and the Aardwolf. And the cutest baby cheetah ever! Sad to see the baby hippo but what interesting feet. You really got some great images and your Seychelles photos are lovely. Thanks for posting.

Hmmm, i better take some planning tips from you. Now i see why you go back to Kenya so often...looks like you stayed at some nice places! I'm definitely jealous, but ill get there some day. ;-)
Great pics. Gosh, your hippos were definitely more exciting than ours. They never got outta the water! Seems like you had some awesome sightings. Now i reeeally wanna go back and give things another try!

Patty, just got around to seeing these, and they are stupendous. Was thinking of going back to Botswana, but after these pics you make me want to replicate your itinerary. The views are amazing. I can't believe how much that pangolin's armor looks like scallop shells (or Marion Cotillard's Oscar dress). And loved the domesticated animalsa too. You must be a dog lover.

You stayed at some awesome camps...the scenery and accommodations looked wonderful! As a non-birder, I was impressed with your identification of so many different birds! Loved the gerenuk browsing shot...I wasn't able to photograph any. And, we only heard a bushbaby...never saw one...they're cute! As are your cheetah cub photos....And,you had great sightings on the rhinos.
