Kavey,
I reread your post and yes, my camera does have the capability to focus on one part of the subject and refocus on a second. Hope that answers your question. Will that cure my problem?
Many thanks;
Sherry

Just got to these.
They're great.
I really appreciated seeing the birds in the Seychelles. I wake to a photo taken on our trip - two Fairy Terms o a tree branch. And those granite boulders on La Digue... a photographers paradise.

Loved that you brought the entire 4-legged family into your album. I'm sure they missed you.

Thanks so much for sharing these.

Sherry-these are beautiful!!! I really liked the ostrich resting his beck on the ground, the baby zebra, that green lizrd, the maasai blankets, your leopard in the tree,and I think my favorite is the close up of the bat earred fox - his/her black eyes are georgeous in that grey head. And Michael looks just like Kevin McHale. Thank you for sharing.

Sandi - Thanks

Cyn - Kevin Mchale, as in from a mil. years ago Celtic? Minus a foot in height, maybe.
Thanks for your kind comments on my pics. I still have lots to learn using the camera. A good purchase, wouldn't you say.

HI Sherry:

Yep, McHale the Celtic . And yes - I really love the camera. I pretty much just let it do it's thing, and I was happy with my pics too.

Wow, thank you so much, you've made my day.
Funny, I was just thinking that I needed to dig though the archives to find these for subject matter for an upcoming class. By any chance are you a photo teacher or professional?

I'll soon be taking a 1/2 day digital photo class using practice shots of Ireland. I do wonder if these types of classes help for safari type photo work.
