hi, again,

I like the idea of your plan very much and wish we'd had time to do something similar.

if you are fixed on lunch at spier, [and indeed on your dinner destination] I would strongly advise booknig in advance.

when we were at Spier in July [and therefore the middle of winter] by the time we left at 12 noon, it was really filling up. admittedly this was a sunday, but even so, we were surprised at how busy it was.

we didn't like the cheetah experience too much [not sure for whose benefit it was being conducted - clearly not the cheetahs'] but we did like the raptors, and the general situation.

we liked the white wines at spier very much and have started buying from our local supermarket when we can get it. not too keen on SA reds generally, but your taste may well be different.

have a great time,

regards, ann

If you plan on visiting so many wineries, please spit when tasting, otherwise you wont remember a thing.
