Morocco in early January?

My family and I (couple in their late 20s and parents in their late 50s) are thinking of going to Morocco in January. Any thoughts on the weather at that time of year? Suggestions on an itinerary and luxury hotels/resorts would also be appreciated. Thanks.

For weather info, check Yahoo, Weather.com or do a Google.

Itinerary and other questions need more info from you. Where in Morocco will you arrive and depart, how long do you intend to stay, what are your interests, et cetera.

Part beach, part sightseeing & shopping. We will be going for one week. I was wondering how cool the nights get in January.

With just one week, and looking for some good temperatures, the Agadir area comes to mind. Anything north or inland from there will be too cold or too wet.

Agadir and south of there will be at least 21C/70F in January.

A nice and very affordable base to explore the region could be Les Trois Chameaux in Mirleft: www.3chameaux.com.
