Thank you for butting in Darren Humphrys, I am looking at all options as I am going crazy in trying to put this together last minute! I did check flts from par tangier but not tangier ams and still have that as an option. I will check other way around. It seems that I can save some time that way. Another question, can I hire a guide when I am there to see the cities or should I arrange it before hand?
I really really appreciate all this input! Fodorites have always given me great trips by their suggestions!

You're welcome, Mirasia.
You can always find a guide at any time, any day in Morocco . However, I would recommend pre-booking just so that you can be sure you're semi-organized, plus you could then advise them of any preferences you may have (e.g. shopping or non-shopping, history or non-history, photographic-emphasis etc etc). Your accommodation choices will almost certainly be able to book a guide for you, which will give some added security/assurance that your guide will be accountable.
Don't worry, it looks like you're almost there with your planning!

Your fellow traveler,
Darren

Thanks! I am trying to work on it when I get home from work which doesn't leave much time.
Another question and hopefully the last, what form of money do you take? are there bank machines available to get cash?

Yes, ATMs in towns of any size, no need to change cash, as in most of the world these days.

Yes Mirasia, as Mme Perdu advises there are ATMs everywhere that distribute Moroccan dirham straight into your hot little hand. As I always advise however, bring just a small amount of cash (USD, Euros) as a back-up. We have had travelers in the past have difficulty with their cards being denied access at some ATMs.
