Morani, Black Rhino at Sweetwater's Dies

The Ol Pejeta Conservancy-East Africa's largest Black Rhino Sanctuary-sadly reports the death in August of Morani, the tame black rhino, due to natural causes. Rescued after his mother was killed by poachers in Amboseli National Park, the beloved Morani graced the Sanctuary for 19 years, helping to create enormous awareness for black rhino conservation not only within Kenya but around the world. So glad we were able to spend time with Morani last Dec. He was a gentle fellow. He will be missed.
