Thanks for the reply. I now know that unlike my trip to Mombasa over Easter, Mombasa, like Tanzania (where I reside)is heavy into their rainy season. It poured just about everyday, and most of the day, and unlike TZ, it gets cool when it rains. Next year I will plan better.

We were planning a trip out of Nairobi in a couple of weekends but advised that the roads may be a bit wet where we were heading. Decided to stay closer to town. Looking forward to getting out again!
