Mahale Camps, Nkungwe versus Greystoke
We are finding Greystoke Camp at Mahale is difficult to book into our desired schedule.
I WOULD LIKE A REPORT FROM ANYONE THAT HAS STAYED AT NKUNGWE CAMP.
Or better yet a comparison from someone that has been to both camps.
Or what have you heard of the reputation of both.

My spouse and I stayed at Greystoke this SEptember and found it to be the highlight of our safari. We did get a chance to "see"Nkungwe, albeit from a short distance. It appears to be nice, but not equivalent to Greystoke as far as luxury is concerned.I did hear that they run a good operation. If I could not get in at Greystoke, I would certainly stay at Nkungwe.Seeing the chimps is what you are there for.I hope this helps.

Seeing the chimps is the BIG reason for going to Mahale. Despite Greystoke's well deserved legendary rep, I think Nkungwe may provide a better chimp per dollar ratio. If you could stay longer at Nkungwe than Mahale, that would really be a plus for Nkungwe.
I hope we get more posts on Nkungwe.
