Long Layover in Doha - ca we leave the airport?
Hello, we are booked to fly on Qatar Airways via Doha. Our layover is 14 hours and we are thinking of taking a day tour of Doha. We are US citizens. Will we have any problem with customs/local authorities to step away from the airport for 10-11 hours? We are not getting a stopover package, just want to hire a private guide.

Hi sorry I can't comment on the technical aspect but for sure I reccommend a stop in Qatar. You have enough time to visit the amazing Souq, the falcons and the museum of Islamic Art. We did an overnight stopover so all thechnicalities were dealt with by the airline.
