Kenya in mid November or early December
I am considering a trip to Kenya either mid November or early December. We have been to Tanzania twice early November and thought it was wonderful. We don't need to see the migration. Has anyone had a safari to Kenya at those times? I'd like to hear about your experiences - wildlife sightings, weather (rains? heat?), and any think else you experienced. Thanks!

We were in Kenya for 10 nights in mid November in 2022 and had great weather. Have long trip report here under my user name glover titled At Last Africa. Weather was great, fellow tourists were fewer, and animal sightings were many!

From the start, it's a great time to be on safari. First the peak season rush would be offer thus less traffic of tourist in main tourist areas. Second weather is perfect, less rain and the best time to spot wildlife without the usual many tourist vehicles. In terms of cost, you will get the best offer as it will be high season unlike peak season when prices are too high from parks fees at masai mara to less accommodation prices. Do not hesitate if you have any question, i would gladly answer you.

That's a great time. in all those parks you will experience great temperature with morning and evenings being a bit cold and if it remains the usual, then it will never get to 28C except if you are going further to the north in Samburu or at the beach where sometimes it gets hot and humid during the day.

We visited Kenya in late November and it was a great time to go. The short rains had started, but they were mostly brief showers in the late afternoon or evening, not enough to disrupt game drives. The landscapes were greener and very beautiful. Wildlife sightings were excellent in Masai Mara and Amboseli—plenty of big cats, elephants, giraffes, and many young animals since it’s the calving season. It was warm, but not uncomfortably hot. Crowds were also smaller compared to peak migration months. Overall, a very enjoyable and rewarding safari experience.
