Johannesburg Accomodation
My husband and I will be staying in Johannesburg for 4 nights at the beginning of December on our way to Zambia. We have been there a number of times and this time just want to do some shopping, movies, dinners, theatre etc and would like to stay close to Sandton City shopping centre and Nelson Mandela square. We would like something nice but not too expensive, a guest house or boutique hotel would be perfect. Looking at the $150 to $200 per night range and there seems to be plenty available but just wondering if anyone has any personal recommendations.
Thanks for your help.

Sorry Bwino. I did not check the rate as we paid roughly 1700ZAR two years ago.
Obviously SA is also going wild with the rates
Have a look at the http://www.portfoliocollection.com/
They have got several "collections": B+B, country places etc etc
They do a quality check per annum to make sure all the establishments keep up to their promises.
You most probably find a great B+B in Rosenbank or Sandton close to the malls, restaurants etc.
Further happy planning!

it is only about $100 a night including breakfast - looks great.
