Jburg

I just posted but forgot to ask about Johannesburg. WE will have two full days there after our safari. I think there is less to do than in Cape Town. We will be staying at the WestCliff Hotel which I think is in the suburbs. Any suggestions for restaurants or must see destinations. Thanks for your help.

Soweto--must see.

I've tried to go to DeWildt Cheetah Sanctuary-Reserve several times but have never been there on the right day when it is open.

I'm going to do a brief visit to the Lion and Rhino Park this time.

Here is a link to that park. You can try your lion communication skills if you go.

the Apartheid Museum is supposed to be a "must-see".

A few years ago I read about The Cradle of Humankind but didn't have time to visit. It got a fairly enthusiastic write-up in the NYTimes -- it's a world heritage site and while I guess there are some animals, the focus is on the fossil record. Maybe someone has been there and can comment.
