Israel Itinerary help!!

I am traveling to Israel in February for my nephew's bar mitzvah and we are trying to plan an itinerary. We will be in Israel for two weeks with 9 adults and 4 children. Can someone suggest an itinerary or must see places to visit while we're there?

You did not tell what you are interested to see, so, it is difficult to recommend something.
Below please find some links where you can find info about sightseeings in Israel.
Please have a look and then come back here with specific questions.

We plan to spend the first week in Jerusalem then do some traveling to other areas the second week, returning to Jerusalem for the last weekend. As of now some thoughts I had were to see the Israel museum, tunnels under the Western Wall, Tower of David, walk around Machaneh Yehuda, Meah Shearim, and Ben Yehuda, do a day at Masada and the Dead Sea/Ein Gedi, maybe visit the Tomb of Rachel and Hebron. I've also heard that Tsfat (Safed) is a great place to go for a day. Any other thoughts, comments or suggestions?

Did you visited Yad Vashem memorial in Jerusalem? I think that it is a must for any visitor of Israel.

Are you interested only in Jewish places, or may I suggest to see also other sites?

Yes, Tsfat is nice for a day trip. There are there many artists houses.
Not far from there is Tveria (Tiberia) on the shore of Kineret Lake. You can visit there Dona Gracia museum (in the memory of this extraordinary woman,; she was 500 years ago the richest woman in the world and help a lot of Jews). Also, it is interesting to visit the Scots hotel, built in the former Scotish Hospital. It is a very nice place, a guide of the hotel can explain you every thing, and there is a beautiful view of the lake from there.

Haifa is also not far, and a visit at Bahai Gardens is very pleasant (you need reservation by phone; free of charge).

Acco (Acre) - to see the old port and all the historical sites from Romans time and Napoleon time.

Cesareea - to see all the Roman archeological sites (amphiteatron, etc).

If you want to see the Christian places go to Jerusalem, Nazareth, around Kineret Lake.

Have a nice time in Israel!

Mazel tov!

If you (or members of your group) enjoy wine, I'd recommend Binyamina--lovely town and there are many wineries around there. (Though don't schlep wine there. Ben Gurion airport has amazing wine section in the duty-free store, usually offering buy 3 get 1 free.) There are many nice places up north esp you like hiking/scenary--we liked Rosh Pinah. Had a good day on the beach (though probably too cold in Feb) along Herzliya.

Don't know the age of the children, but they may enjoy the zoo and botanical garden. Also, don't miss Max Brenner icecream shop in Jerusalem, along Emek Refaim.

I would skip Hebron and instead add Yad Vashem, SEfat, Tiberias Beit Shean and Beit Gevurin ( you actually participate in a dig) and the Zoo in Jerusalem that has the most AMAZING lion exhibit ever!
