Wow! I just got word that I was quoted in the latest Fodors The Complete African Safari Planner.

I really hope it was something intelligent that I said -- can't wait to get my copy and see!

I am a member of a few web forums and Fodors is definitely one of the better ones, has really added value to my travels....

Celia, you should drop an email to the editors. You are entitled to a free copy (of either that book or one of their other titles of your choice) when you are quoted.

They even sent mine all the way to England!

Katie at Fodor's e-mailed me yesterday, and I sent her my details so my free copy should be here in 6 or 8 weeks.

I received my complimentary copy of the latest Fodors "The Complete African Safari Planner" - many thanks to Katie and the folks at Fodors.

The guide is superb, fully focussed on safari travel and covers the core countries of South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Kenya and Tanzania and lots of very useful information for the independent traveller including places to stay etc. I'm sure this will be a very useful guide for any safari traveller.

The forum memebers quotes are in little "word of mouth" quote side boxes, and each forum members screen name is also mentioned - very nice!
