I just called the local travel clinic to see what I needed for my upcoming trip to Honduras and was told that as of August '06' Blue Cross and other insurances are picking up the travel med tab.
I'm in RI, btw, so I'm not sure if that's applicable to other states.
I'm extremely excited by this.

Cybor, fyi, the newest Lonely Planet, which came out this week, is to Honduras. Not sure where you're going, but I was in Copan last February, and its a great colonial town, with far fewer tourists than Antigua, and its within walking distance of great Mayan ruins.
