Help! We need to switch islands for our honeymoon and don't know where to go!
We've booked our honeymoon trip to Mauritius (Oberoi) and South Africa (Singita and Cape Grace) for this coming September. However, with the recent outbreak of Chikungunya fever, I'm thinking about switching the 4 night Mauritius portion of the trip. Can anyone reccommend an island desitination/hotel that we can get to from Johannesburg (keeping in mind our other destinations) besides the seychelles or Reunion (which have also been affected by the outbreak)??? We are looking for something very beautiful/exotic, romantic and luxurious. Our travel agent has suggested Mozambique islands, but we've heard mixed things (nothing special, not luxurious, etc.)
Thank you!
Thank you!

Have a look at Thonga Beach Lodge (Isibindi Africa) on the Natal north coast of South Africa. Vamizi is lovely but getting there might be a bit of a mission if you days aren't the same as those that LAM fly's on!
