Free internal flights

I heard that if I travel from Israel on El Al, I would be eligible for free internal flights e.g. to the game reserves or Vic. falls. Does anyone know about this?

You talking about which game reserves? Zambia or Zim or Botswana?

However, it seems unlikely...as most charter companies that fly between camps/reserves are affiliated with the safari operators. Example, Sefofane with Wilderness safaris. Moremi air with Kwando. etc etc., so i doubt, if any of these companies are affiliated with major commercial airlines. You need to chk with your agent/tour operator.

I have a roundtrip ticket from the USA to JNB which includes 2 internal flights in the cost. The travel agent from whom I purchased the ticket has negotiated that deal as part of their contract with SAA.

I would assume then that the internal flights would be on SAA, which does not fly to game reserves, though does go to Vic Falls and other "major" cities. Check SAA website for where they fly, but most likely it's from JNB to the city (Vic Falls for example) and return.

....SAA or whoever could package some internal flights to Vic falls or Livingstone or wherever.....but this does not include game reserves/flights into the landing strip at the camps/reserves.
