For wildlife or against?????

Please read www.planyoursafari.com article, "I work in the industry but wildlife is annoying" I was not particularly impressed when I read the one about the lions. I think there is a lack of expierence people dealing with problems like that, hence such a drastic decision. Maybe someone can post a link to the article as I dont seem to know how to do it.

I think you are exactly right--lack of experience so err on the side of minimizing discomfort to paying guests even if the local wildlife residents suffer.

Too many people have discovered being a GUIDE means making the big buck compared to many other jobs.

Many waiters want to become guides because they see how much money these make.

Working in animal kingdom is nut just "doing a job". It's PASSION for wildlife and nature and a lot of these folks are lacking the passion.

Both of the instances mentioned are really disappointing and depressing.

It feels as though Africa is being tidied up for the visitors! We'll eventually end up with virtual visits.
