Eilat

Any recommendations about where to stay in Eilat. We will not have a car. Most interested in snorkeling.

I'll be interested to hear from anyone about this too. Although we will have a car.

Hi
Very much depends on what your budget is. I personally highly recommend the Dan Hotel or Herods Hotel which are on the promenade itself. If you are aiming for a lower budget I recommend the King Solomon Hotel. In any case, try to find a hotel on or near the promenade, so there is almost no need for a car or other transport.

We'll be staying at the U-Suites in a few weeks. It's pricey but has some good reviews.

Note that most snorkeling areas are located a bit to the south, a few km/miles towards the border with Egypt. There are some hotels in that area as well, but this is a little far from the main promenade and action.
