Egypt - Vacinations

do I need any vacinations for Egypt, travelling from the USA

Percy is right, there are no special vaccinations needed. However, I would recommend making sure you are up to date on the ones that are good for all traveler to have - Tetanus, Typhoid, and Hepatitis A & B.

While none required specific for entry/stay in Egypt, it's a good idea as an adult traveler anywhere (even a few miles from home)to be current with Tetanus, HepA and Polio Booster. The first two are good for 10/yrs.; the latter should last the rest of your life.
