We are planning a trip to Egypt for the end of the year between Xmas and New Year. We likely will have 8-9 days to spend in Egypt. We are a group of 6 people (me, my husband, my daughters (ages 9 and 12), my parents. We would like to have a private tour if possible with a Dahabiya cruise included. In addition to the usual must-see locations we would like to explore the food and culture more intimately. Any recommendations for a tour operator that can help facilitate such a trip, would be much appreciated. We are not looking for luxury accommodations but something moderately priced, comfortable and clean.

We used Real Egypt Tours and were pleased with their service throughout the process, booking and on the ground. That said, a dahabiya cruise takes 4 nights. With only a week, you may not have time for it.
